The award-winning Danish film "Applause" will be screened at the Cinemas Palm d'Or in Palm Desert on Friday, Dec. 2.
The film, which has been showcased at numerous international film festivals, stars Paprika Steen as an alcoholic actress who is struggling to reclaim her life and her children following a recent stint in rehab.
However, her current role, playing Martha in a stage production of "Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?" leaves her with more questions than answers.
