
La Quinta Blues & Brews will return on Saturday, Nov. 19 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at La Quinta Civic Center Campus, 78495 Calle Tampico, La Quinta.
The gates open at 10:30 am.
Presented by La Quinta Arts Foundation in partnership with Premier Sponsor the City of La Quinta, the fifth annual event will feature three live blues bands, over 30 craft beers, great fare from Fisherman's Market & Grill and Baja Louie's Mexican Cantina, plus a selection of fine wines at the Wine Rack. New to this years event will be a variety of lawn games including bocce ball, ladder golf, and bean bag toss.

The diverse 2011 line-up stars some of Southern California's blues legends to entertain throughout the day:
11:00 am - Barry Baughn Blues Band - Coachella Valley favorites, returning for their third appearance

1:30 pm - Candye Kane Band - "2011 Contemporary Blues Female Artist of the Year" nominee
3:30 pm - The Hollywood Blue Flames - Led by guitar phenomenon Junior Watson
Tickets are $20 at the gate or $15 by advance purchase at www.LQAF.com. Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs and blankets for lawn seating. No pets, coolers, umbrellas, or food allowed. Parking is free. Photo I.D. is required to purchase alcohol.
