PALM DESERT, CA — A fire broke out Saturday in a two-story building in Palm Desert, the Riverside County Fire Department announced.
The fire was reported just before 10 a.m. Saturday in a two-story, multi-family building in the 2500 block of Via Calderia.
It was contained to a second-floor patio by the fire suppression system, according to the fire department.

There was minimal water damage to the first and second floors, and firefighters predicted being on scene for an additional three hours for mop-up.
No injuries were reported.
