Fire Rages Inside The Cove Gated Community, Firefighter Injured
Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department raced to the scene of a fully involved fire inside The Cove in Indian Wells.
INDIAN WELLS, CA — Flames engulfed a single-family home in Indian Wells' gated community of The Cove Thursday.
The blaze was reported about 12:30 p.m. in the 45000 block of Santa Fe Cove Drive, according to the Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department. Firefighters were able to contain the blaze shortly after 2 p.m. Thursday, and crews said they would remain on scene for an additional two to three hours.
A firefighter sustained moderate injuries and was taken to a local hospital. It was unclear how he was hurt. No additional injuries were reported.
