Firebirds Hockey Returns To Acrisure In Nov. 10 Vs. Ontario Reign

The Coachella Valley Firebirds will continue their four-city, six-game road trip Friday evening with the first of two back-to-back games.

PALM DESERT, CA — The Coachella Valley Firebirds will continue their four-city, six-game road trip Friday evening with the first of two back-to-back games in Bakersfield.

The Firebirds began the road trip with a 5-1 loss to the San Jose Barracuda Wednesday, allowing the final three goals, including an empty-netter with three minutes, 10 seconds to play, after center Ben Meyers scored for the second time in three games.

Friday's game is a rematch of the season opener, which the Firebirds lost, 2-1, Oct. 11 at Acrisure Arena.

The Firebirds, the Seattle Kraken's American Hockey League affiliate, are seventh in the 10-team Pacific Division with a 2-3-0-0 record for four points. The Condors, the Edmonton Oilers' AHL affiliate, are fifth with a 2-1-2- 1 record for seven points. The are 0-1-2-1 in their last four games.

The two teams will also meet Saturday in Bakersfield.
