Firefighters Stop Desert Hot Springs Vegetation Fire
The fire sparked on Highway 62 at Mission Creek Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA — Firefighters stopped a vegetation fire in Desert Hot Springs Saturday at seven acres.
The fire was reported as a six-acre blaze at 2:47 p.m. Saturday on Highway 62 at Mission Creek Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Officials reported at 6:06 p.m. that forward progress of the fire was been stopped at seven acres and it would take two to three hours to put out hot spots.
