Forest Lawn In Cathedral City Hosting Memorial Day Ceremony

CATHEDRAL CITY, CA — Cathedral City will be one of six Forest Lawn locations across Southern California to host a free Memorial Day remembrance ceremony later this month.

The family-friendly event will begin at 10 a.m. on May 26 at 69855 E. Ramon Road.

The commemoration will include patriotic music, wreath-laying ceremonies, flag retirements, guest presentations, giveaways, arts and crafts, and complimentary coffee and sweet treats at all participating locations, according to organizers.

"Forest Lawn's Memorial Day remembrances honor the lives and courage of the members of the United States military," Forest Lawn's vice president of marketing Rodolfo Saenz said in a statement. "We are proud to bring all of our Southern California communities together for earnest moments of reflection and gratitude at our six patriotic events."
