Frank Ocean Drops Out Of Coachella, Weekend 2; Cites Leg Injury
Poway-originated punk-pop band Blink-182 is reportedly taking Ocean's spot.

INDIO, CA — Rapper Frank Ocean will not perform during the second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, citing a leg injury, according to numerous reports.
A rep for Ocean told Rolling Stone that he canceled his April 23 headline performance after suffering leg fractures and a sprain during the first weekend of the festival at Indio's Empire Polo Club.
"It was chaotic. There is some beauty in chaos. It isn’t what I intended to show but I enjoy being out there and I’ll see you soon,” Ocean said in a statement provided by his rep to Rolling Stone.

Ocean performed at the festival last Sunday night but was late getting to the stage. His set was then cut short due to a curfew imposed at the festival grounds.

The Sunday night performance, much of which Ocean spent sitting down, was the singer-songwriter's first live show since 2017.
His set left some fans bewildered, but others threw their support behind him.
“I was blown away by Frank Oceans Coachella performance,” Canadian singer Justin Bieber posted to social media. “His artistry is simply unmatched, his style, his taste, his voice, his attention to detail. I was deeply moved. It made me want to keep going and get better as an artist. He continues to set the bar high and gave me a night I will never forget! Thanks Frank."
