Café Tacvba blends several genres together, taking inspiration from Latin folk, punk, and electronic music. Known for Rubén Isaac Albarrán Ortega's signature nasal vocals, the group gained popularity through the early 1990s. The original foursome released "Cuatro Caminos" (Four Paths) in 2003, which won a Grammy Award for Best Latin Rock/Alternative Album.

After taking the Acrisure Arena stage, both bands will continue the tour Saturday in Chula Vista before moving eastward across North America.
