Gas Price Rises Slightly Near Palm Desert
However, data shows that prices are still down from this time last year.
RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County rose three-tenths of a cent Thursday to $3.189, one day after dropping a half-cent.
The average price is 1.8 cents more than one week ago but 11.9 cents less than one month ago and 4.9 cents lower than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The average price has risen four times, remained unchanged twice and dropped once, increasing 1.8 cents, following a run of 14 decreases in 15 days totaling 9.1 cents.
