Gas Prices Near Palm Desert Drop For 51st Consecutive Day
The average price has dropped 50.4 cents over the past 51 days, including 1.3 cents on Thursday, according to data.

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA — The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Riverside County dropped Friday for the 51st consecutive day, decreasing nine-tenths of a cent to $3.297.
The average price has dropped 50.4 cents over the past 51 days, including 1.3 cents on Thursday, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It is 8.6 cents less than one week ago and 32.3 cents lower than one month ago, but 21.9 cents more than one year ago. The average price has risen 22.4 cents since the start of the year.
The streak of dropping prices is the longest since a 57-day run from Oct. 4-Nov. 29, 2014, when that average also included figures from San Bernardino County.
