House Fire Displaces 7 In Rancho Mirage

The Red Cross is assisting the two adults and five children left homeless in the Friday blaze.

RANCHO MIRAGE, CA — Seven people were displaced by a house fire in Rancho Mirage Friday.

Firefighters were dispatched at 4:57 a.m. to the 38000 block of Cal Idaho Drive and had the blaze out about 40 minutes later, the Riverside County Fire Department reported.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire was under investigation.
