I-10 Crash In Palm Desert Leaves Driver Hospitalized
California Highway Patrol officers were continuing to investigate the reason for the crash.
PALM DESERT, CA — A driver was rushed to a hospital Monday after her sedan overturned into the center median on the I-10 freeway.
The crash was first reported at approximately 12:45 p.m. Monday west of Washington Street, according to California Highway Patrol records.
CHP officer David Torres told City News Service that the woman was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center for unknown injuries. She was initially trapped in the vehicle for at least five minutes, according to CHP records, with others attempting to get her out.

The driver's flipped sedan caused the eastbound fast lane to be temporarily blocked for just under 30 minutes, CHP records indicated.
Officers were continuing to investigate the reason for the crash, Torres said. No other vehicles were involved.
