DESERT CENTER, CA — An investigation continued Tuesday following the discovery of a man's body under suspicious circumstances in Desert Center.
On Oct. 18, deputies were sent to an agricultural area near Oasis and Kaiser roads at about 4 p.m., where they found 46-year-old Thanh Phuoc Tran of Hollywood dead inside a structure, according to Riverside County Sheriff's Sgt. Rick Espinoza.
Following the discovery, sheriff's officials labeled the death suspicious, and investigators with the Central Homicide Unit took over the investigation.
