At Least 1 Killed In Crash On I-10 In Coachella Valley
At least one person was killed Friday morning in a crash that occurred on Interstate 10 near Cathedral City.
COACHELLA VALLEY, CA -- At least one person was killed in a crash on Interstate 10 near Cathedral City this morning, however CHP officers have yet to confirm the number of victims.
A call came in to California Highway Patrol dispatchers at 9:11 a.m. Friday morning reporting a vehicle on its roof off the right-hand side of westbound I-10, between the Bob Hope Drive and Date Palm Drive exits.
The car was reported to have gone about 70 feet off the side of the roadway. Traffic was jammed near the crash, though no lanes were closed due to the incident.
