Living Desert Zoo Welcomes Return of 'Park After Dark'

The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens is offering the rare opportunity to see the park in a whole new light as its exciting Park After Dark events return. Park After Dark is offered on select Friday nights, beginning November 18 through March 3 from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Park After Dark events include special family nights and adult-only nights, which are geared towards those 21 and older with featured alcohol tastings. All events include a special guided twilight tour through the zoo and an up-close animal presentation. The family nights also include the time-honored outdoor tradition of roasting s’mores around a roaring campfire.

The first Park After Dark event, to be held Friday, November 18 is for adults (21+) only and features a guided wine tasting experience.

Other adult-only nights are slated for January 20 with a rum and tequila tasting, February 17 featuring bourbon and scotch, and March 17 with beer and Irish whiskey tastings – all adult nights are generously sponsored by Total Wine and More.

Family Park After Dark nights are January 6, February 3, and March 3.

The cost for family night for members is $25 for adults and $12 per child; Non-members are $35 for adults and $22 per child. The cost for Adult Park After Dark activities is $38 for members, $48 for non-members – all attendees must be at least 21 years old. Reservations are required.
