Man, 70, Arrested For Suspected DUI In Palm Desert

PALM DESERT, CA -- A 70-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after he apparently drove his van into a trailer. Palm Desert Police Department said David Waldschmidt of Cathedral City was arrested for DUI.

The incident happened shortly after 6 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Monterey Ave. and Dick Kelly Dr., in the city of Palm Desert.

No injuries were sustained by all involved.
