Man Who Was Killed By Car In Coachella Valley ID'd

COACHELLA VALLEY, CA -- Authorities have identified a local resident who was struck and killed by a vehicle in Coachella Valley late Sunday night.

Glenn Earl Littlepage, 57, of Coachella, was pronounced dead at the scene of the 11:30 p.m. collision on Dillon Road near Harrison Place, according to the Riverside County coroner's office.

The driver of the vehicle, who was not arrested, was cooperative with sheriff's deputies who arrived to investigate the crash and was later taken to a hospital for medical observation, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

Drugs and alcohol were not believed to be factors in the accident, according to the sheriff's department.
