Motorcyclist Killed In Desert Hot Springs Crash Identified

The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA — A 21-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a crash with another vehicle in Desert Hot Springs Saturday.

Officers from the Desert Hot Springs Police Department responded to the intersection of Palm Drive and Dillon Road around 7:40 a.m. Saturday to a report of a major crash.

The motorcycle operator was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries and were taken to a hospital, according to police.

Alcohol was not believed a factor in the crash.

The motorcyclist was identified as Christopher Ventura of Desert Hot Springs, but no identifying information was provided for any of the additional people involved, nor was the type of vehicle.
