Multiple I-10 Freeway Lanes Close After Trucks Collide

Both the No. 2 and No. 3 lanes were blocked as a result of the collision.

INDIO, CA — Multiple lanes on the I-10 were shut down Monday following a collision involving two trucks in Indio.

The crash was reported at approximately 2:10 p.m. Monday west of Jefferson Boulevard. A black truck attempting to merge was T-boned by a big rig, according to California Highway Patrol records, sustaining "major damage."

Both the No. 2 and No. 3 lanes were blocked as a result of the collision.
