Palm Desert Man Arrested For Illegally Growing Marijuana
Chen Long Yang, 19, allegedly grew more than 1,000 marijuana plants.

PALM DESERT, CA -- A man in Palm Desert was arrested Wednesday for allegedly growing marijuana illegally.
Chen Long Yang, 19, was arrested around noon in the 100 block of Azzuro Drive, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies found more than 1,000 marijuana plants in the home. They also discovered the home had illegally bypassed the power resulting in approximately $25,000 worth of electricity having been stolen, authorities said.

Yang was booked into Riverside County Hail.
