Palm Desert Man Killed In La Quinta Crash

PALM DESERT, CA -- A Palm Desert man died Sunday after two cars crashed in La Quinta.

The crash happened around 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the intersection of Washington Street and Rancho La Quinta Drive. One person, Jerry Heredia, 22, of Indio, died at the scene, while Tathan Crawford, 28 of Palm Desert, died from his injuries at John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital in Indio.

Three others were taken to hospitals for injuries ranging from serious to moderate, officials said.
