Palm Springs Mayor Ron deHarte To Deliver Annual State Of The City

The fair will feature city departments and local nonprofits supported by the city.

PALM SPRINGS, CA — Palm Springs Mayor Ron deHarte and city council members will present the annual State of the City address on Tuesday at the Convention Center, where residents will learn about the city's major accomplishments and vision for the future.

"We can and we are moving forward!" said deHarte. "Our path to progress is forged in working together, maintaining unwavering focus on our strategic goals and letting voice of our community be our compass."

The free event and this year's theme, "Palm Springs Forward ... we can ... plan smarter, build stronger with a city that works for everyone," will begin at 2 p.m. at 277 N. Avenida Caballeros with a community fair.

The fair will feature city departments and local nonprofits supported by the city. It will be followed at 3 p.m. with deHarte's presentation and a free ice cream social.

Residents unable to attend in person can watch the broadcast on the city's YouTube channel and on Palm Springs community television.
