Palm Springs Tram Admission Free For First Responders In August
The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is offering free trips for first responders, including fire and police personnel and EMTs, throughout August

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CA -- The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, operator of the world’s largest rotating tram car, is offering free trips along the cliffs of Chino Canyon for first responders over the next few weeks, starting Thursday.
For the entire month of August, all qualified first responders receive free admission to the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway as part of “First Responders Days.” In addition, up to four of their guests receive 25% off of their regular tram fares.
Tickets are regularly $26.95 for adults, $24.95 for seniors 65 and older, and $16.95 for children ages 3-10. The freebie program runs August 1-31, with tickets only available at the Tramway’s Valley Station on the day of visit.

"We are happy to have our second annual ‘First Responders Days’ and welcome the men and women who so courageously protect and serve our communities," Tramway General Manager Nancy Nichols said. "We truly hope they enjoy their visit with us and make cherished memories with their families and friends."
Qualifying personnel include: fire and police personnel; California Highway Patrol members; County Sheriff officers; and emergency medical technicians (EMTs). A full listing of who's eligible is available at www.pstramway.com.
