Pedestrian Killed In Coachella Valley

INDIO, CA -- One person was killed Saturday night after being hit by a car in Indio. The incident was reported at 9:28 p.m. on Miles Avenue and Monroe Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Officials said a car hit a pedestrian who died at the scene.

Indio Police Department is investigating the incident.
