PALM DESERT, CA — A person was rescued Tuesday from a trail in Palm Desert after suffering from a medical complaint.
The rescue was reported shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday in the 47000 block of Portola Avenue, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
The agency said the individual suffered moderate injuries and was hoisted by helicopter to a ground ambulance nearby.
