Public Library Move Hits A Snag In Palm Springs: What To Know
This library, slated to close temporarily in July has changed its plans after a failed air conditioning system.
PALM SPRINGS, CA — The Palm Springs Public Library's planned July closure and move to a temporary location has been delayed three weeks due to an HVAC system issue at the new Rimrock Plaza site, officials announced Wednesday.

The last day the library will be open to the public before its closure will be Aug. 8. However, patrons may still attend the closing party from 2- 4 p.m. July 19 at 300 S. Sunrise Way, on the corner of Sunrise Way and Baristo Road.
