Rattlesnake-Bite Victim Airlifted To Hospital From Desert
The individual was transported from a fire station in Desert Center, officials said.
DESERT CENTER, CA — A rattlesnake-bite victim in Desert Center was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment Thursday.
The bite was reported at 11:06 a.m. at the Lake Tamarisk Desert Resort, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The unidentified victim entered the fire department at 43880 Tamarisk Drive, complaining of a snakebite.

Firefighters tended to the victim at the station, then summoned a Reach Air medical helicopter crew, who flew the person to a hospital.
