Seats Open For Eric Clapton, Weezer's Nearly Sold-Out RivCo Concerts
According to Acrisure Arena officials, the venue just released a limited number of production seats for this week's performances.
PALM DESERT, CA — Three-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Eric Clapton will perform Oct. 10 at the Acrisure Arena near Palm Desert. Two days later, the Los Angeles band Weezer will take the stage at the same venue.
Both shows are nearly sold out, but on Tuesday, Acrisure Arena officials announced a limited number of production seats were released for both performances.
The Clapton show is scheduled 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the 11,000-capacity arena that's located at 75-702 Varner Road. His special guest is blues rock guitarist and singer Jimmie Vaughan, founding member of The Fabulous Thunderbirds and brother of the late guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan.

Before heading out to the desert, Clapton and Vaughan perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Pechanga Arena San Diego.
Weezer is scheduled at 7 p.m. Saturday at Acrisure with psychedelic rockers The Flaming Lips and Massachusetts-based Dinosaur Jr. in the show's lineup.
