Trump's Planned Military Parade, VA Cuts, Draw Ire In Coachella Valley
The Democrats of the Desert Club, a grassroots political organization, is holding two protests against the administration.

COACHELLA VALLEY, CA — Protests against Trump administration policies have been documented nationwide, and the Inland Empire is not exempt from these rallies.
The Democrats of the Desert Club, a grassroots political organization focused on energizing Democratic voters in the Coachella Valley, is holding two such events.
The first takes place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, June 6th, at Patriot Park, 33998 Date Palm Drive, Cathedral City. Among the protesters are expected to be veterans from Amvets Post 66. The group will be rallying against the Trump administration's proposed cuts to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. If implemented, the cuts could lead to thousands of veterans losing their V.A. jobs. The protest theme is "Unite for Veterans, Unite for Veterans."
