Unknown Shooter Fires At Car In Palm Springs: Police
Police Saturday were looking for the shooter who fired at a vehicle carrying five people in Palm Springs.
PALM SPRINGS, CA — Police Saturday were looking for the shooter who fired at a vehicle carrying five people in Palm Springs.
The shooting was reported just before 9:10 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of Rosa Parks Road, according to the Palm Springs police.
One of the people in the vehicle told police that the group of five friends had just left a gas station at Rosa Parks Road and Indian Canyon Drive when they realized they had made a wrong turn.

As they turned around toward Indian Canyon Drive again, they heard gunshots, police said.
Two rounds struck the vehicle, one of which blew out a window, though no one was injured, according to police.

The shooting was being investigated and anyone with information about it was urged to call the PSPD Crimes Against Persons Unit at 760-323-8129, or report information anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 760-341-7867.
