Fire Near Coachella Music Festival Contained
The 15-acre fire brought down power lines.

COACHELLA, CA -- A vegetation fire that erupted miles away from the popular Coachella music festival was contained Sunday afternoon. The fire erupted around 4:38 a.m. and grew to 15 acres by 10 a.m., bringing down power lines and prompting road closures.
The blaze at the 46600 block of Tyler Street was contained by 2:45 p.m., according to fire officials.
The fire was several miles away from the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival, which typically attracts more than 90,000 people each day.

No one has been injured as a result of the fire. Officials said the fire was "human-caused," but remains under investigation.
