Zero-Tolerance For Boaters During Labor Day Holiday Yields Excellent Results: RivCo Sheriff's Dept.

Patrol vessels were deployed along the California side of the Colorado River over the Labor Day weekend, keeping the water safe for all.

BLYTHE, CA — As many Riverside County residents headed to the Arizona/California state line to enjoy the Colorado River water activities, sheriff's department deputies from Riverside County and San Bernardino County worked to keep the water safe for holiday weekend revelries.

The Colorado River Station Marine Enforcement Unit deployed patrol vessels along the Colorado River over the Labor Day weekend, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department, and was focused on public safety/education and a zero-tolerance weekend.

"The operation covered multiple resorts, launches, and parks along the Colorado River, from the Imperial County Line in the south to the San Bernardino County Line in the north," Sgt. Bryan Berryman said.
