15-Year-Old Fatally Shot Near East Palo Alto Alley: Police
This was the second homicide in East Palo Alto in the past month.
EAST PALO ALTO, CA — A teenager was fatally shot in East Palo Alto on the 1900 block of Manhattan Avenue on Monday night, according to police.
Two suspects, both male, were seen running toward Woodland Avenue following the shooting just after 9 p.m, according to the East Palo Alto Police Department.
Officers found the victim, a 15-year-old boy, suffering from a gunshot wound in an alley between Manhattan and Euclid avenues. They performed first aid and took him to a hospital, where he died.

This was the second homicide in East Palo Alto in the past month. In May, one person was killed and three others were injured in a shooting in an apparent "targeted attack" at Jack Farrell Park after 6 p.m.
