The holiday season has arrived in Palo Alto, bringing twinkling lights, cheerful events, and plenty of ways to make memories close to home. From light displays to beloved local traditions, here are the hometown holiday highlights you won’t want to miss.

Holiday Lights at Filoli

When: Now through January 11, 2026 | 4 PM to 7:30 PM (last entry 7 PM)
Where: Filoli, 86 Canada Road, Woodside, CA

Experience the magic of the season at Filoli with shimmering light displays, festive décor and warm holiday hospitality. Holiday Tree Lighting at Lytton Plaza

Kick off the holiday season at Palo Alto’s annual Tree Lighting celebration. Enjoy winter treats, warm beverages and lively performances from School of Rock, Boost Class Merry Holiday Dancers and the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra. Once Upon a Garden: Family Night

Deck the Halls Holiday Concert by Peninsula Cantare
