4 Suspected Of Stealing Nearly $6K In Items From Palo Alto Lululemon

Two women and a man entered the store, grabbed nearly $6,000 worth of items and fled to a getaway car, police said.

PALO ALTO, CA — Four people were charged with felony organized retail theft in connection with an incident at lululemon in downtown Palo Alto last Friday afternoon.

Two women and a man entered the store, grabbed nearly $6,000 worth of items and fled to a getaway car with at least one other person inside just after 2 p.m. on Friday, according to the Palo Alto Police Department. The suspects fled in a BMW X5 and were involved in a hit-and-run incident while driving away from the scene, police said.

There were no injuries in the collision.

Police stopped the car in Hayward approximately a half hour later and recovered 54 items valued at approximately $5,800 inside the vehicle, they said.

Four of the five people in the vehicle were charged. They were: 26-year-old Modesto resident Dominique Chaz Shawaun Carter, 25-year-old Modesto resident Anita Snell, 24-year-old Modesto resident Maliyah Fa Janay Scott and 20-year-old Stockton resident Jamil Naylor Harris Jr.
