East Palo Alto hires company for 24-hour parking enforcement (paloaltoonline.com) — East Palo Alto has approved hiring LAZ Parking for 24-hour parking enforcement, aiming to tackle overcrowded streets while freeing up its understaffed police department. The company, which already works in cities like Palo Alto, will start with two months of outreach before a year of comprehensive enforcement focused on fair, consistent rules and local hiring.
   

5. Buffaloes fall short in neutral site matchup with Stanford (ralphiereport.com) — Stanford’s men’s basketball team, which calls Palo Alto home, rallied past Colorado 77-68 in a neutral-site matchup in Phoenix after trailing at halftime.
