Arrest Made In 2022 Palo Alto Robbery Case
Police believe they have caught the person responsible for an armed robbery and several car burgalries last year.

PALO ALTO, CA — A suspect in connection with an armed robbery in Palo Alto has been arrested.
On Wednesday, Palo Alto police detectives arrested a man they believe was involved in an armed robbery in April of 2022.
An extensive investigation identified 25-year-old Tommy Walter Miller as the driver of the suspect vehicle in the robbery, which occurred in the 900 block of Bryant Street. The victim noted that Miller pointed a handgun at him from the suspect vehicle, while a passenger from the suspect vehicle got out to approach the victim with a pistol and demanded his property.

Detectives additionally connected Miller to four auto burglaries that occurred in Palo Alto in March and April of 2022. Police obtained an arrest warrant for one count of armed robbery and four counts of auto burglary, taking Miller into custody without incident at the Santa Clara County Superior Court in Palo Alto.
The armed robbery case remains under investigation as detectives work to identify and arrest a second suspect.
