PALO ALTO, CA — The Palo Alto Children’s Theatre is holding group auditions for its Playhouse Series on Friday.

Children over the age of 13 though high school are eligible. Upcoming productions at the Children’s Theatre include “Princess & The Pea,” “The Ugly Duckling” and “The Little Mermaid.”

No prepared material is needed for the audition, which typically consists of improvisation games and learning a short song. Each production is a two-week commitment.

The auditions take place Friday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Palo Alto Children's Theatre at 1305 Middlefield Road.
