PALO ALTO, CA — A train struck an occupied vehicle this evening along the Caltrain tracks in Palo Alto, Caltrain officials said. Train No. 279, headed north, struck a vehicle at Churchill Avenue at 6:21 p.m. Friday.
Caltrain officials said the occupants of the vehicle were uninjured and declined medical attention.
None of the approximately 281 passengers on the train reported any injuries.

The collision is the sixth this year involving Caltrain and a vehicle.
