Fallen Tree Branch Triggers Palo Alto Power Outage
Palo Alto Utilities reported the outage at 3:35 p.m. Friday. The outage has knocked out service to approximately 1,700 customers.
PALO ALTO, CA — A Palo Alto power outage late Friday afternoon has knocked out service to approximately 1,700 customers, the Peninsula city’s utility said.
A fallen tree branch landed on some electric lines, triggering the outage, Palo Alto Utilities said.
Power is expected to be restored at 7 p.m., the utility said in a 4:33 p.m. update.
