Have Chainsaw, Will Travel - Landscapers Move Out Downed Tree
Good Samaritan landscapers noticed a tree down in Palo Alto Thursday, grabbed their saws and removed it "without incident."

PALO ALTO, CA -- Kindness counts. A tree came down on Arastradero Road Wednesday afternoon, blocking a portion of the westbound lane between Alpine and Page Mill roads. The latter is where snow fell about a week ago in this winter's wild weather scene.
Workers from a landscaping company happened to be driving by shortly after officers arrived at about 1 p.m. These Good Samaritans didn’t hesitate. They grabbed a chainsaw from their truck and cleared the road in 10 minutes.
This tree was one in seven that came crashing down in the windy storm's wrath Thursday in the South Bay.
