At Least 11 Downtown Palo Alto Businesses Vandalized In Spree
A 37-year-old Palo Alto man was charged with felony vandalism after several downtown Palo Alto businesses had their windows broken Monday.

PALO ALTO, CA — A 37-year-old Palo Alto man was arrested on suspicion of breaking the windows of several downtown Palo Alto businesses Monday morning. .
Joshua Sinclair Kahan was charged with felony vandalism after at least 11 downtown businesses were found to have broken windows on Monday, with the damage estimated in excess of $100,000.
Kahan used physical force or items like rocks and trash can lids to break the windows, according to police. The motive is unknown.

Kahan was arrested after police received a call of vandalism in-progress just before 4 a.m. Monday morning at SlideBar on University Avenue.
The other businesses that were vandalized include the Apple Store, lululemon, Siam Royal, Design Within Reach, Union Bank, YAYOI, Form Fitness and Apercen Partners, according to police.
