Man Suspected Of Masturbating In Front Of Children In Palo Alto

Two teenage girls noticed the suspect masturbating while they were inside a Starbucks on Thursday, according to the Palo Alto police.

PALO ALTO, CA — A man was arrested on suspicion of masturbating in front of teenage girls at a Starbucks on University Avenue in Palo Alto on Thursday.

This was not connected to a peeping incident on Monday, when a suspect entered the women’s restroom at Verve Coffee Roasters and looked under the stall divider at an adult woman using the toilet, according to the Palo Alto Police Department.

Alexander Keenabautista Neumeier, 27, was charged with indecent exposure and annoying children. He has no permanent address, police said.

Two teenage girls noticed Neumeier masturbating while they were inside the Starbucks on Thursday shortly before 5:30 p.m., according to police. One of the girls said the man was looking at them, police said. A staff member at the coffee shop called police after the victims asked for help.
