PALO ALTO, CA -- Mendocino Farms wants to throw a party until the cows come home. The restaurant will host a grand opening on May 2, with the hope the excitement for fresh ingredients lasts for years.

Husband-and-wife team Mario Del Pero and Ellen Chen co-founded the thriving restaurant group in Los Angeles in 2005. Mendocino Farms offers a unique, chef-driven perspective on sandwiches and salads and emphasizes premium, locally-sourced ingredients served with white tablecloth hospitality.

The 3,381-square-foot space will have 70 seats inside, 20 outside on the patio. The design will have some of Mendocino Farm’s signature modern-rustic-elegant-bohemian elements, with a large hanging rope light installation and hand painted murals throughout the grounds by artist Liza Burns. There will be 20 beers and wines on tap.
