Mountain View Elementary School Closed After 'Potential Threat'

MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — Benjamin Bubb Elementary School in Mountain View was closed Thursday out of an “abundance of caution” after a potential threat was identified by school district officials, the city of Mountain View announced.

Officials did not elaborate on the specifics of the threat. There is no current threat to public safety, according to the city.

Police will increase their presence Thursday at Bubb and other Mountain View schools.
