Owners of Teslas - Model S and Model X - now have beta version of Summon, which is packaged with the Palo Alto-based company’s latest software update.
Summon can work with the car’s key or a connected smartphone, according to a Sunday release.

But, says the Silicon Valley Business Journal, parking the car in the garage at night might be challenging for the tired driver arriving at home, as it involves quite a bit of prompting.
The company hopes that eventually, a Tesla equipped with Summon will be able to drive anywhere across the country to meet you, charging itself along the way.
