Palo Alto Artists To Host Open Studios Event With Activities
The public is invited to check out the work of the 22 artists at the Cubberley Artist Studio Program.
PALO ALTO, CA — Residents at the Cubberley Artist Studio Program will showcase their work at an Open Studios event Nov. 13.
The public is invited to attend and check out the 22 artists’ work. The artists are releasing limited edition works leading up to the event through a collaborative project called ArtUp, and the first 200 visitors will receive a limited edition free risograph print from one of the artists.
The event will feature hands-on activities for all ages, including a children’s art table and a comic book art activity featuring best-selling author Rachelle Doorley and artist and author Daniele Archambault.

There will also be a large outdoor chess set courtesy of Elizabeth Bennett, an interdisciplinary artist, woodworking activities from Darryl Dieckman, a photography workshop by Conrad Johnson, a leaf rubbing art station from Perry Meigs and another outdoor art activity by costume design and mixed media artist Jennifer Gonsalves.
The event will take place at Cubberley Community Center at 4000 Middlefield Road from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Nov. 13. It is free to the public.
