PALO ALTO, CA — Palo Alto City was lit up in blue and yellow, the two colors on the Ukrainian flag, to support Ukraine amidst the Russian invasion.

Additionally, a fundraiser started by Palo Alto-based nonprofit Neighbors Abroad for Ukrainian children has raised more than $46,000 as of Sunday night.

The fundraiser specifically supports orphans and homeless children in Ukraine who have been impacted by Russia's invasion, which has created a shortage in food and basic supplies.
