Palo Alto Libraries Branches Reopen, Back To Pre-Omicron Hours
Several branches across Palo Alto were closed and hours were reduced during the omicron surge.
PALO ALTO, CA — Palo Alto Library branches reopen this week and have hours restored to pre-omicron levels.
As of Thursday, the hours for the library branches are:
- Downtown is open Thursday and Friday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- College Terrace is open Thursday and Friday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Children’s is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
- Rinconada is open Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursday from noon to 8 p.m.
- Mitchell Park Branch is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.
- Study rooms at Mitchell Park, Rinconada, and Downtown are open

Masks are still required for visitors three years and older regardless of vaccination status, per Santa Clara County’s health order.
