Palo Alto Libraries Branches Reopen, Back To Pre-Omicron Hours

PALO ALTO, CA — Palo Alto Library branches reopen this week and have hours restored to pre-omicron levels.

As of Thursday, the hours for the library branches are:

• Downtown is open Thursday and Friday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• College Terrace is open Thursday and Friday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• Children’s is open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
• Rinconada is open Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursday from noon to 8 p.m.
• Mitchell Park Branch is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from noon to 6 p.m.
• Study rooms at Mitchell Park, Rinconada, and Downtown are open

Several branches were closed and hours were reduced during the omicron surge.

Masks are still required for visitors three years and older regardless of vaccination status, per Santa Clara County’s health order.
